ComPol Williams, “Steven Moss Murder is Gang-related.”
Our headline story on Tuesday evening was the gangland execution of Steven Moss, by a pair of gunmen who hopped out of a vehicle on Caesar Ridge Road and opened fire on him multiple times. The twenty-nine-year-old died on the scene of the shooting and the men who accosted him made good their escape in a rented SUV. According to Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, investigators recovered the abandoned Range Rover on Amara Avenue and have taken the individual who rented the vehicle into custody.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
“Yesterday afternoon, sometime after two p.m. thereabout, police received information of shots fired on Caesar Ridge Road, that’s off Queen Charlotte [Street], and based on that they responded, where the lifeless body of Steve Moss was found with what appeared to be gunshot injuries. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police investigation reveals so far that Moss was riding a bicycle on Caesar Ridge, in the area of Bismarck Club when he was approached by a group of men in a Land Rover Range Rover. Two persons alighted that vehicle and opened fire at Moss, causing his fatal injury. Police response quickly led to the location of the vehicle here on Amara Avenue, but the suspects had fled the vehicle at that particular moment. We have conducted a number of interviews within the area and have gathered some very useful information and at this time we do have one person in custody and are seeking two others in respect of that particular matter.”

“Sir, that Range Rover was left on Amara Avenue. You all found it with the engine running, any idea who owns it?”
Chester Williams
“The Range Rover was from a rental, it was rented the day before. We also have in custody the person who rented that vehicle and he is also a part of our investigation.”
