Cesar Aban killed in hit and run one day after his friend
There is further grief to add to the tragedy of the death of the twenty-two year old. Friends went to offer their condolence on Friday to the Sanchez family. Thirty-eight year old Cesar Aban, a salesman, also travelled to Santa Clara Village to pay his respects. After ten Friday night, he left on foot and was walking on the right side of the road when he too became the victim of a hit and run. Aban was knocked down by a white car heading north. He received severe head and body injuries. News Five spoke to his brother, Facundo Aban, who was also upset that the driver fled the scene and left his younger sibling to die.

“On Friday he went to the home of Diego Sanchez who had died the night before. He was there with Diego’s father. He then left to go home. It was raining that night. Moments later they said that he had been knocked down in front of his house as he was crossing the street. The driver of the vehicle did not stop; he drove away. Some say that it was a white car, others say it was a grey car. I don’t know what color car it was. But if the person who knocked him down is watching I want him to know that it was not an animal he knocked down. He left kids behind and they need assistance. I would like the driver to help out the family because they really need help. The kids are still going to school.”
Police are investigating these two hit and run accidents. They also issued a reminder to motorists that it is an offence to flee the scene of an accident.
