Weed Gummies Police Exhibit Keeper Out on Bail
The police exhibit keeper, who was charged in April for the discarded weed gummies that got several children sick, has been granted permission to leave the country. Mario Bustillos, charged with ten counts of negligent harm to ten children was granted permission to spend three days in Chetumal, Mexico. Bustillos made an application asking the court for permission to leave the country on family vacation. He was granted the permission and he leaves Belize tomorrow and returns on Sunday. Bustillos was initially arraigned on Friday, April 8, 2023 for the incident over the weed-laced gummies. Bustillos must still report to the Orange Walk Police Station once a week, every Mondays between the hours of 7:00 a.m., and 7:00 p.m., he is not to be within a hundred feet of the victims and or any prosecution witnesses. His next court date is set for August 28, 2023, a date also set for disclosure to be given to him.
