The Grand Finale of KTV the Remix; Who Will Win the $10K
Who will win the grand prize of ten thousand dollars and the bragging rights as champion of KTV the Remix, Season Five? It goes down tonight at the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts where the grand finale of the 2023 season takes place. The journey started eight weeks ago, with twelve participants and after several battles and taking on different genres of music, the top three were selected. Last week was the final chance to get in the votes for your favourite singer and tonight that individual will be crowned the winner. News Five’s Duane Moody reports.

“Final preparations are underway as the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts will come alive tonight for KTV the Remix Season Five. The finale begins in the next few minutes.”

“It’s the grand finale and I am so excited. Definitely looking forward to tonight’s show. It’s been eight weeks of complete preparation. And if I am being quite honest Duane, the preparation for this specific show did not start until yesterday. But we’ve been seeing the contestants go week by week by week strengthening their voices to get to this show tonight. Who’s going to walk away with that ten thousand dollars, I have no idea, but we are looking forward to all the different performances on stage tonight. Also because we are having guest performances such as Marlyn Vansen, Stig Da Artist and we have Titiman Flores. When was the last time you saw Titiman on stage? Definitely it is going to be a great show tonight and to back up everything, we have TLC that’s going to keep the crowd on their feet also in the Bliss.”
The grand finale commences fifteen minutes earlier with the red carpet opening where we’ll have a chit-chat with the finalists, the judges and the coach about the journey through Season Five. Producer Viannie Reyes says that it’s going to be like a concert inside the Bliss.

“That’s the comments that I have been getting so far. I have been posting couple videos on social media, Instragram, TikTok, everything and I’ve been receiving messages saying that Channel 5 noh di have KTV tonight; dehn di have wah whole concert. So I spoke to the boss and I told her, I want this night to be a night for everybody to enjoy. I want the audience that comes here every week for them to actually feel that my money worth it tonight. Definitely we are going to have a good show.”

After eight weeks of tough competition, the final three are: Haziel Alaniz, Suwamai Flores and Tamika Gordon. But who is going to win the title and the grand prize of ten thousand dollars?

“I can’t say who wah win, but I have to say that they all deserve it. They all worked very hard and we already received phone calls saying that we want over a hundred and fifty seat reserved. So that can honestly say that they have so much support and we are looking forward to see that tonight on stage and here in the audience. We have the band, we have Alex that will be performing, the other two judges, and also the guests artists that will be coming on stage. And also, Duane, an original piece from each of our contestants. So they’ve been working so hard to get to this last day. No judging tonight, but definitely somebody will walk away with that money and we need to see who it is going to be.”
