Thief Breaks Into Home of High Court Judge
In the wee small hours of this morning, a burglar broke into the residence of Justice Nigel Pilgrim in the Hollywood area of Lord’s Bank Village. The forty-four-year-old High Court judge from Trinidad and Tobago was asleep on the second floor of his home when he was startled by a loud bang. When he opened his bedroom door, Justice Pilgrim observed a dark skin male person with bald head running down the interior stairs of the building. The intruder then ran through the backdoor making good his escape. Fortunately, nothing was stolen from Pilgrim’s residence; however, when investigators responded to the scene sometime after one a.m., they discovered that the surveillance system on the property was not working. It is believed that the thief gained entry by cutting the burglar bars of the window on the southern end of the house.
