Francis Fonseca Endorses Mayor Bernard Wagner’s Candidacy

Minister of Education, Francis Fonseca, says he believes Mayor Bernard Wagner has earned the right to continue leading the city. As we have reported, credible information suggests the People’s United Party will endorse Mayor Wagner’s candidacy for the upcoming municipal elections.  The party is yet to make an official announcement. But, Minister Fonseca has made it clear where he stands on the matter.

“I don’t want to get ahead of any announcement from the party. Those announcements will be made by the chairman of the party. So, let us wait and hear what they have to say. I have been very clear in my position. I support Mayor Bernard Wagner. I think he has done a stellar job as the leader of this city and I think he has earned the right to continue to lead the city. So, I will leave it at that.”
