Prime Minister Doesn’t Watch TV Ads
And, Prime Minister Briceño was also asked about a recent television ad in which Gulab Sharma, one of the principal investors in Portico Enterprises Limited, is being heavily criticized. This is just one of many ads hammering Sharma and his investment partner David Gegg. Well, the P.M. says he is out of touch with what is aired on television.

“What do you make of the political ads airing on think Channel 5 and Channel 7? Where it’s one of the ads implicates Mr. Gulab Sharma and he basically says that I think in April a container of fake Air Jordans was busted and it was kind of kept hush hush.”
Prime Minister John Briceño
“Sorry to disappoint you, I don’t watch your news. I read it afterwards; I just skim through and see what I need to read. But the truth of the matter, I don’t watch the ads. Honestly, the way I keep my sanity is I don’t go to social media, I don’t watch TV ads, I have to be focused at all time on the work that I do. So they could take about 100 ads or 2 ads or 1000 ads. I don’t look at it, I don’t have no… Who is keeping it hush hush? I mean…”

“Were you aware of the customs confiscation of a container from the Free Zone of fake Air Jordans in April 18th?”
Prime Minister John Briceño
“No, I was not aware and those things don’t come to me. That is a custom matter, they don’t come to me.”
Reporter
“Would you chalk it up then as propaganda?”
Prime Minister John Briceño
“I have no comment on that but it doesn’t really… It doesn’t matter, I mean if he was caught, he was caught.”
