Grace Kennedy Belize Donates Hand Sanitizers to K.H.M.H.
One could never have too many sanitary supplies at the nation’s referral hospital. Today, Grace Kennedy Belize donated thirty-six gallons of hand sanitizers to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. The sanitizers will go a long way in assisting health care workers and the general public at the hospital to ward off unnecessary germs on the hands. Here is more from the brief handing over.
Tyler Myvette, Brand Manager, Grace Kennedy Belize
“It came from our supplier, they are from Barbados. They actually are the ones we distribute for. They created the Beep product and that is household line. WE came together and they said that they wanted to do something for the country. So we came together with this decision to donate to the KHMH. We have a very good relationship with the K.H.M.H. We have done major donations with them so this is just another step in that process.”
Sharine Reyes, Financial Controller, K.H.M.H.
“As we all know hand sanitizer is a healthy way of promoting healthy hand hygiene. This donation comes in very good for us at this time because we are still having some cases here and our nurses use a lot of hand products to be able to care for their patients and not be able to spread the germs from one patient to another So this was a very good donation for us. We won’t have to purchase this amount of, this would run us for a period of time.”
