Belize Cancer Society Launches Awareness Campaign

Just before news time this evening, the Belize Cancer Society launched its Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. The month of October is observed as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is designated globally to increase awareness about breast cancer and to promote early detection, prevention, and treatment. During this month, organizations, healthcare professionals, survivors, and supporters are coming together to educate individuals about the importance of regular breast self-exams, mammograms, and clinical check-ups. The launch of the breast cancer awareness campaign is just one of the events scheduled for this month.
