Audio Recording Reveals Encounter between Deceased and Another Man

The audio recording referenced earlier is approximately forty minutes long. News Five is in possession of a seven-minute portion of that recording that was shared with us by the relatives today. The family purports that the exchange is between the deceased and a security guard.  This recording, along with the cell phone, Vasquez’s wallet and several pictures have been turned over to police investigators. Here’s an excerpt from the recording.

“Do you the thing. Pass the light. I will check it for you. 

Voice of: Man

“Boy!”

(scuffle)

Voice of: Man

“What is the matter with you?  How can you hit me? 

Voice of: Oswaldo Vasquez

“I wanted to give you the four dollars for (inaudible).”

(Continue Talking)

“Light the way so I can find the money.”

Voice of: Man

“No money from you fell.”

“Yes.”

“No, no money is down there. It’s best that you go. Go…go.”
