“Oswaldo has been with us three years now. He started in 2020. He’s somebody that one can consider a jack of all trades, you can say. Very smart, intelligent guy; somebody that will never tell you no, somebody that is very resourceful. We were even wondering, even if Oswaldo gets lost somewhere, he will find a way to get out because he is somebody that knows the tricks of the trade. He’s somebody that is very helpful at work. Everybody truly loves him, appreciates him. He’s somebody that will never get upset with you, but very helpful. It was shared by one of our colleagues and so we saw it and we said, we wonder what happened, wondering – maybe it wasn’t as serious as it seemed. Maybe it was one of those binges, you never know; people go on those binges and then they appear the next day. But then we started seeing it being shared on Facebook by his family members, by other people and more of our colleagues. Then the next day he wasn’t found and then it started becoming a bit serious and we said well this is not just somebody that was hurt. Something had to have happened. And so immediately, my manager mobilized some of our staff and some of them on their own said they wanted to come together to see how we could assist as best as we could. find him alive and that’s what we wanted for him to be alive because we couldn’t have Ozzy die on us. We are like beside ourselves in shock. When we saw the days rolling by we said now it is definitely we are looking for a body. It is so bleak that the chances are that we would find him alive.”
