Malachi Hamilton Still Missing, Presumed Dead

He was last seen alive on October third. Seventeen-year-old Malachi Hamilton went missing from the Lake Independence area of Belize City and his family fears that he has been murdered because of his affiliation with a street gang in that neighborhood. Today, Commissioner of Police Chester Williams told News Five that in this missing person’s case, investigators believe that the teen was abducted.

“We do believe that he may have been taken and we are working on this matter as best as we can. Police have conducted many searches to try and see if we would be able to locate the young man. We are hoping for the best, but at the same time expect the worst. And we are going to continue working with the family to see what can be done to find him.”
