Stakeholders Win Big at Annual Tourism Awards

The annual Tourism Awards were held on Sunday to acknowledge stakeholders in various aspects of the service industry, including tour operators, hoteliers and restaurateurs.  According to Chief Executive Officer Nicole Usher-Solano, the celebration served to recognize the men and women who go above and beyond in the tourism sector.

“It’s always really nice to have a celebration of all of the people in tourism that work hard everyday to give the high levels of service and every year there is the occasion of the tourism awards where these people are recognized, the hotels, the restaurants, tour operators, frontline personnel.  There are several awards and last night was the one for 2023, so it was a very nice celebration, a very good celebration and everyone was happy.  So many people were nominated, but you could only have one winner, right?  So in each of those categories, it was very well received and very well attended.”
