Shemar Brakeman Charged for La Democracia Robbery
A robbery in La Democracia Village on Friday night has resulted in the arrest of one of three suspects. Twenty-one-year-old Shemar Brakeman has been charged for the crime after the proprietor of a store reported to police that she was held up at gunpoint by a trio of men who entered her place of business demanding money.

“On Friday October 2023, police responded to a robbery report at La Democracia Village. Upon their arrival, a complainant reported that she was at her store serving customers when she was approached by three male persons armed with firearms who demanded money. She opened the door and let them in and they stole an amount of cash then fled from the area. Police conducted searches in the area and detained several persons. An investigation was carried out and since then, one Shemar Brakeman, twenty-one years old has been arrested and charged for the crime of robbery. We are seeking other suspects in regard to this report.”
