3 charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder of Shomans

Story PictureThree persons who had planned an attack against the family of businessman, Jose Shoman last December have been slapped with additional charges of Conspiracy to Commit Murder. Thirty-three year old Aldo Miguel Urbina of Orange Walk Town and twenty-two year old Cesar Aldana are accused of plotting to murder the seven members of the Shoman family in the wee hours of December thirteenth, 2008. The third culprit, a seventeen year old Guatemalan, was one of three minors who police rounded up after they found them with a gun, a military knife, and other items that were allegedly to be used for the crime. The entire group included six persons. The other person forty-seven year old Honduran national Miguel Mayorga was charged with the rest with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery at the residence. But the new charges materialized after new evidence came forth of the murder plot. The six, who were already on remand, were brought back to court on Thursday to face their new charge and were promptly escorted back to prison. Their next court date is on March twenty-seventh.
