Scratch and Win Winner Hails from Rural Belize

It’s been a while since we’ve heard that someone has won a big prize on Scratch and Win, but tonight, there’s a winner to report on. This latest winner, who goes only by the name “David”, told us that he has been buying scratch tickets every day for the past month. He said that the winning ticket was one of several that he stopped to buy at a store near his house in rural Belize on Tuesday night. And as he scratched it and started seeing the zeroes, he knew he had landed something big. And now, David says he will figure out what he will do with the money in due course.

“I start see the zeroes first, soh ah just continue scratch then ah see the 30 in front then I see the 30 da front soh ah she ah fall eena luck today. I start buy last month and every day. I used to buy eena last year but I pause fi a while and I say Christmas di come, mek ah try mi luck, plus I always see people di win Scratch soh I say this da the way fi invest. Soh I come this was and I guess da just my turn fi win. When I have the money then ah wa figure out weh ah wa do with it, more or less.”
