Miguel Encalada Returns to Court for Double Murder Charges
Six months after being placed on pretrial detention for the murder of his wife and his brother, Miguel Encalada appeared before a senior magistrate in the lower court where he was provided with partial disclosure ahead of his trial. The thirty-nine-year-old barber is accused of killing Desiree Gonzalez and his sibling, twenty-five-year-old George Rochester at his Scissors Tail Street residence on April twentieth, of this year. Encalada, whose attorney Hurl Hamilton was not present in court today, was provided with partial disclosure in the amount of one hundred and eighty-three pages, plus a digital video disc of footage from the scene of the incident. Encalada was informed that the DVD is expected to be disclosed to him by November twenty-third, the date that he is scheduled to reappear in court.
