Safiyyah has entertainment and gift shopping ideas

Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is what’s happening Belize.

Tonight the Youth Hostel will be having a talent showcase inside the House of Culture. This will be held in order to raise awareness of the violence affecting our country. There will also be a special guest appearance by Shyne.

Belize Rural High will be having a dance tonight inside the Crystal Palace Auditorium. Music will be provided by International Vibes, DJ Jesse and Selecta Pun. The dance will run from seven p.m. to midnight.

In Dangriga tonight there will be a bash type concert held inside Higher Level Club. This party will feature Supa G, Makoy, Danger Zone and others. And incase you miss that party tonight, you can see the same artist perform on Saturday night inside Mac G’s in Independence village.

In Barrio Fino on Saturday night there will be an old school Dance. All students with ID will enter at a discounted price.

The St Isabella’s RC School in Bermudan Landing will be having a fundraising dance on campus on Saturday night. This Dance will feature Sam Hamilton and Zoila Clark. The night will begin at seven p.m. with karaoke and will continue on with the dance beginning at nine p.m.

Here in Belize City on Saturday night there will be a performance at the Bliss called Corozal in the City. This will feature dances traditionally seen in the Corozal district. It will begin at seven-thirty p.m.

On Sunday the season finals will be held at the M.C.C. This final stand off will be held between two time champs F.C. Belize and the B.D.F. F.C. The match will begin at four p.m.

Also on Sunday the YWCA will be having a pageant featuring seven young ladies. This pageant will run from three p.m. until six p.m. It will be held inside the Queens Room at the Princess Hotel.

Next Week Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday you can head over to the Institute of Mexico to enjoy a free film festival being brought to you by the embassy of Mexico and the embassy of Brazil. It is free to enter.
