Assad Shoman

And, while Prime Minister John Briceño condemns Hamas for the October seventh attack, former Foreign Affairs Minister, Assad Shoman, does not. “Do you condemn Hamas?”

…and the taking of over two hundred hostages. Some of them have been killed.

Assad Shoman

“Do you condemn the Israeli Defence Force?”

Hipolito Novelo

“We condemn what is happening there. I believe we condemn what is happened there. We want peace.”

Assad Shoman

“Not what is happening. Do you condemn them?”

Hipolito Novelo

“Yes, we do. Do you condemn Hamas?”

Assad Shoman

“I don’t condemn Hamas. I condemn the killing innocents civilians. Do you condemn the United States…”

Hipolito Novelo

“The taking of over two hundred hostages, Sir. Hamas persons took over two hundreds. Some of them have been killed, including a child. I’m asking if you condemn Hamas, yes or no.”

Assad Shoman

“I do not condemn Hamas. I condemn an action.”

Hipolito Novelo

“You said Hamas is not a terrorist group. It’s a liberation organization. The official for the Israeli government in charge for the Caribbean and Mexico said, Sir, you are wrong that Hamas is a terrorist group. And he finds your comments unfortunate. And that Belize, with its position, has ultimately surrendered to terrorism.”

Assad Shoman

“The Israelis have ridden on a wave for decades. They have enjoyed impunity and immunity because of the world’s good heart and feeling for those who suffered in the genocide. But one genocide just not justify another.”
