Businessman robbed of twenty thousand dollars

In other crime related news, a businessman parked his vehicle on Woods Street near KBH Security Company and just as he was exiting it, he was held up at gun point and robbed of twenty thousand dollars in cash. Belmopan resident, Carlos Moreno, the owner of Belize Food Supply located at Mile four on the Northern Highway was robbed this past Wednesday at about eleven am when he was in Belize City making collections. The robber appears to have known the businessman’s routine and the Police have no clues on the identity of the brazen gunman. Moreno told police that a dark skin man ambushed him and that he handed over the money in fear of his life. Two weeks ago the Orange Walk branch of the company was also robbed.
