Celebrating International Jaguar Day

The Belize Audubon Society commemorates International Jaguar Day on November twenty-ninth.  It is a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about the mounting threats confronting jaguars and the pivotal conservation endeavors spanning from Mexico to Argentina.  Recognized annually, this day serves as a tribute to the largest wild cats in the Americas, functioning as an umbrella species for biodiversity conservation and symbolizing sustainable development and the enduring cultural legacy of Central and South America.  We end our newscast tonight with a feature story put together by the Belize Audubon Society.
