Evan Haynes is Stabbed During Bar Fight in Caye Caulker

There was a stabbing incident in Caye Caulker yesterday evening involving two individuals who were socializing at a bar on the island. According to police, the men got into an altercation during which one broke a glass bottle and proceeded to inflict stab wounds on the other, before making good his escape. “On Sunday, December 10th, 2023, Caye Caulker police visited the Caye Caulker Clinic where they found one Evan Haynes with stab wound injuries. He repirted that he was at a bar in Caye Caulker when he had an altercation a male person who broke a pint and stabbed him. This person was then taken to the KHMH thereafter and he is now in a stable condition. We have one suspect we are looking for in regards to this investigation .”

“Any motive behind it?”

“They were drinking and there was some dispute and that is when this person was stabbed.”

“Has the person fled Caye Caulker?”

“We are not certain, we are looking for him in Caye Caulker and other places but so far he has not been found.”
