Channel Five heads to Coney Drive studios

It is with anticipation that we report tonight that Great Belize Productions/Channel Five will be moving to its new headquarters at Coney Drive. While the studio for Open Your Eyes has been operating out of Coney Drive since August, our newsroom and studio will now be transferred to the new location as of the last day of the year. What this means, however, is that for technical reasons, the station will off the air on the twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth, and thirtieth of December. We will be back on the thirty-first with our end of year review and much more local programming. Our next newscast will be immediately following the end of year holidays on January fourth. We look forward to your continued support and our commitment is to continue providing you with the best news and local programming in the years ahead. So stay with us for our big move to Coney Drive. Notwithstanding, our Regent Street offices will be retained as our downtown base.
