Gunman steals cash from Mirab Furniture Gallery

But earlier, one of Belize’s largest furniture and appliance outlet was robbed today. Mirab operates out of a large store on North Front Street, but a gunman targeted its operation on the Western Highway. About two forty five, a lone robber rode on bicycle to the furniture gallery. He entered with a handgun and pointed it at the cashier and demanded money. He then escaped with over one thousand five hundred dollars. Sources told News Five that the gunman rode on the Western Highway and onto Krooman Road, which leads into Faber’s Road. Police investigation into the matter continues. No arrest has been as yet.
