Kaleem Chun is Gunned Down on Xmas Day in PG

In Punta Gorda on Christmas Day, thirty-year-old Kaleem Chun was executed by someone he knew, as the trio of men made its way on foot along Main Street.  While walking along with Lazaro Barrientos and Louis Barillas, a firearm was produced and used to mortally injure Chun.  Those individuals, Barrientos and Barillas, have been charged jointly for the deadly shooting.  Here’s more from Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero.

“On Monday, December twenty-fifth, police responded to a report of a shooting at Main Street, Punta Gorda Town, where they found the lifeless body of Kaleem Chun, thirty years old, with gunshot injuries.  Investigation revealed that Kaleem Chun was walking along with two other male persons he knew.  At some point, one of the persons pulled out a firearm and fired a shot towards him, causing his fatal injury.  We have two persons in custody at this time and by this evening a determination will be made as to what charges will be levied upon them.”
