Delcid Brothers Scuffle Over Missing Bucket of Paint
Twenty-three-year-old John Delcid was arraigned earlier today in the lower court on a single count of common assault. He is charged with attacking his older brother during a dispute over a missing bucket of paint. Delcid, an unemployed resident of Lawrence Avenue, appeared unrepresented before a Senior Magistrate where he pleaded not guilty to committing to hitting his sibling, thirty-year-old Christian Delcid. The contractor alleges that during a misunderstanding with his younger brother on January sixth, he was slapped to the left side of the face, causing a swelling to his forehead. He then reported the matter to police and requested court action against him. John Delcid pleaded not guilty to the charge and, since there was no objection, he was offered bail in the sum of three hundred dollars. His next court date is set for March eighth, 2024.
