Jesus Aguilar plays for $10,000 on Tek It or Leave It

Channel Five’s Hit Game Show Tek It or Leave It has offered the opportunity to audience members the chance to win thousands in cash. But the big cash prize of ten thousand dollars is still up for grabs. The seventh contestant was forty-six year old Jesus Aguilar, a salesman of Santiago Castillo Limited who went into the game with convictions to win the ten thousand dollars. Adrenalin was rushing and the excitement from the rambunctious audience at the Bliss was hard to contain as Aguilar pushed through and took home some well needed cash. News Five caught up with him and he told us the ploy he used to play.

“At first, I was going to use the date of birth and the year I worked for my establishment nuh? And that da whey I use my strategy like that. The small numbers and most of date of births come out before and afterwards I just get tied up and left behind.”

“Were you nervous doing the game?”

“Yes, I get nervous afterwards.”

“Did you have support doing the game?”

Jesus Aguilar
“Yeah my friends them was giving me ideas and shift around and like that. Somehow it wasn’t working.”

Aguilar says he intends to use his winnings towards school costs for his two daughters. The episode airs tonight at eight on this station.
