Jimmy Singh gets two years for Aggravated Assault
He went on a rampage after a domestic dispute, but now Jimmy Singh is facing the consequences. The twenty-nine year old appeared in court today, charged with four counts of Aggravated Assault. One count is for pointing a gun to the chest of Kimberly Westby, while the other three stem from shooting at three police officers after a high speed chase. Singh was yesterday found guilty for Keeping Ammunition without a License and was sentenced to two years in prison. The incident in question unfolded late Sunday night when an allegedly inebriated Singh wanted to take his son from away from his ex-common law wife. Westby, a friend of Singh’s ex and Westby’s husband intervened in the dispute and that is when Singh is said to have cranked his gun and pointed the weapon at them. Police in responding to Westby’s report, tracked down Singh, but when they approached him, he fired several shots in their direction and sped off. He was eventually detained after the cops returned fired at his vehicle.
