Car bursts into flames; driver escapes unhurt
In another fire, a car went up in a blaze this afternoon on Map Street. At about four-thirty p.m., Lucrecia Green, a cashier of the Belize Medical Associates, was driving along Cleghorn Street near the intersection with Mapp Street when flames suddenly burst from under the vehicles hood. Green and her female passenger immediately jumped out and traffic came to a halt. She was not composed to give an interview but it was witnessed by Wayne Cattouse who was passing by when the vehicle caught fire.
