Safiyyah’s weekly entertainment package with relief for Haiti events
Tonight Channel Five will be having their first open air concert of 2010. This concert is indeed a special one as it is not only going to be held as a fundraiser to help the earthquake victims in Haiti but it is also a tribute to the late great humanitarian and artist Andy Palacio. This concert will feature artist like Supa G and the Danger zone band, the Umalali women, Carlos Perrote, Garifuna Collective; Lloyd Augustine and Paul Nabor. The concert is only $5 to enter and every penny is going to the Red Cross to help the victims in Haiti. If you wish to donate more than just the $5, you surely can. The concert will begin at 8pm here at our channel five Coney drive Yard.
Also tonight Galen University will be having their Spring Ball inside Rumour’s Guest house. This is going to be a formal event so for those of you who have been waiting for an occasion to bring out those gowns and tuxes, this is it. The Galen University bus will be leaving San Ignacio at 6:30pm. The official ball begins at 7pm and then the real bashment will begin at 10pm.
The Red Cross will also be holding a fundraiser for Haiti inside Club Next. All proceeds will be going towards the relief for Haiti. So if you like to go and party, this time you can do it for a good cause.
If you’re born between January 20th and February 18th,that means your zodiac sign is Aquarius. And for all of you celebrating your birthday in this time there is gonna be an Aquarius birthday Bash inside Palm Island. If you are celebrating your birthday you can enter at half price. They will also be having a complimentary Drink and cake as well as balloon drops and Exotic Dancers.
Music will be provided by Mad Sqad Crew, DJ Biggs, DJ Fabulous, and Wanted International and Blue Steel Sound. They will also have a pledge box if you’d like to make donations for Haiti Relief.
