No arrests made in National Transport jacking
There has been no break in Monday’s robbery of National Transport Services Limited and the stolen monies have still not been recovered by police when we checked today. Shortly after eight, three robbers hit the offices located at miles two and three-quarters on the Western Highway and within seconds got away with the loot of over twenty thousand dollars. The jackers drove up to the gates in a grey Nissan Maxima and waited for the opportune time to make the hit. The employees were held at gunpoint and seven seconds later, as seen in the video, the two gunmen were back out with a bag containing the previous day’s earnings. The culprits jumped into the getaway car and fled the scene. Whether the robbery was internally concocted or not is still under investigation.
