Girls gone wild with street fights in Belize City
In the streets, gang violence appears to be spreading to women. For the second time this week, a group of females attacked one of their own. The four accused are Karen Pinto, Alisha Bowden—both eighteen—and Shishawn Castillo and Shanice Meighan—both twenty. They were brought to court and each charged with Aggravated Assault upon Shirley Lambey Arnold. Arnold reported to police that she was in an area off the Boulevard on Tuesday when the women armed with machetes attacked her. But after they all met bail, Meighan told our court reporter that she is the real victim. She claims that the incident started near the Ministry of Works area. She alleges that it was Arnold who approached her and asked her where the other employees were and said when she responded that she did not know Arnold slapped her. Meighan denied attacking Arnold and said that while they were heading home, police detained them. The four women are due back before the court on March twenty fifth. In the other violent incident, Also on Tuesday nineteen year old Tiffany Lewis was charged with Aggravated Assault upon Patricia Usher. Usher claimed that she was inside her home when Lewis and her boyfriend arrived and stoned her house. She said when she went outside, Lewis pulled a gun at her.
This incident is so sad and disgusting. But these 4 seems proud – quess they got their 5 mins of fame and tv moment. LAdies keep your standards high no matter what.
I was born in Belize but did not grow up there. I would love to come home and visit like I use to do years ago; but with all the violence that is taking place it has not given me any incentive to do so. It’s a shame that in these hard times these women are acting the way the are. They say the economy is bad and that they are struggling to keep a roof over there heads and food on their tables, but yet they are out there fighting causing them tobe arrested and having to pay bail money that they can be making use of in other ways. something needs to be done about all the crime because tourism will faulter by the wayside. For this tourist, Belize will never get my business if the government cannot do something about the crime.
IT A SHAME TO TO THINK THAT FEMALE IN BELIZE ARE ACTING LIKE THEY CAT AND DOGS FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHERS
