Marlon Ysaguirre detained for attempted murder and robbery

Marlon Ysaguirre
A single bullet found its mark on Luis Kerr Junior’s neck when a lone gunman on a bicycle opened fire on him as he sat in front of his home on Curassow Street. Kerr remains hospitalized in critical condition and while his recovery may take a while, justice may come quickly because the cops already have their suspect behind bars. Twenty-two year old Marlon Ysaguirre is the man police brought before Chief Magistrate Margaret Gabb McKenzie because they believe he pulled the trigger on the seventeen year old last Thursday. And while Ysaguirre is innocent until proven guilty, he will be in custody until his name is cleared. Ysaguirre is in even more hot water because he was additionally charged with two counts of Robbery for allegedly trying to jack a tile store on Central American Boulevard last Friday. Reports are that he held up the store manager and a sales person at gunpoint, but ran off when the police were alerted. He pleaded not guilty and is expected to return to court on March third for both the robbery and Kerr’s shooting.
