25 kilos of cocaine found north of San Pedro
Today San Pedro Police had a substantial catch on their hands. About two miles north of San Pedro Town, a resident found twenty five packages of suspected cocaine. The police were called and verified that the packages did contain the illicit drug, more than fifty five pounds. They believe it may have been part of a larger wet drop to the island, as part of a trans-narco shipment headed to the United States via Mexico. The street value is estimated to be over a million dollars.
