Safiyyah finds pre-valentine entertainment

The people in Haiti are still in need of a lot more help and tonight Orange Walk Rotoract Club in collaboration with Hi-5 Nightclub will be holding a huge bash to raise funds. Tonight you can head over to the Hi-5 Night Club and party for a worthy cause. This bash will feature O.W.’s top DJ’s including DJ Rabb, DJ Jessy, DJ DX and many more. They will be having buy one get one free on beers from 11 until midnight, and special free drinks for the ladies during that time as well. Remember all the proceeds will go to Haiti Relief so make sure you head over.

Bob Marley was one of the greatest reggae artists of all times and this weekend there will be two very huge celebrations in honor of his birthday. The first celebration will be happening here in the city tomorrow starting at 4pm at the M.C.C. Tennis court. This celebration will include videos of Bob Marley’s concerts and his Life. So for those of you who are Fans here in the city you can check that out.

Out west in Santa Elena there will be a three day celebration in honor of Bob Marley happening at the Cozy Kahna. This three day celebration will have jammed packed entertainment all weekend, Friday to Sunday. So all you Bob Marley fans definitely have time to go out and celebrate his birthday.

This weekend inside the Bliss all you adults will have the opportunity to go out and see the provocative play “Devilish”. This show will be performed on Saturday at 8pm and on Sunday at 6pm. The cost to enter the play is only $10. So, make it a date night or a girl’s night and check it out.

With all the hearts and little cupids everywhere, it’s hard to miss that Valentines is right around the corner. I know that next weekend I’ll have a ton load of events to tell you about but this weekend, I wanna give you notice for a few, so you can make plans in advance. Muffles high school in Orange Walk will be having their annual valentines fair next weekend. They are inviting everyone out to the festivities beginning at 4pm.

There will also be another valentines fair happening in Cayo for the St Ignatius High School. This will be an all day affair happening at the Macal River Park. Stann Creek will also be having a fair next weekend. The Stann Creek ITVET will be having a fundraising fair on their campus with part of the proceeds going to Haiti relief.

I will give you more information on these to fairs and all the others happening for valentines next weekend.
