Seven year old dies from food poisoning

In other news, a child from Orange Walk District passed away on Monday morning due to food poisoning. On Sunday, seven year old Adan Kay Junior of Corozal Street in Orange Walk Town, was suffering from severe vomiting and diarrhea. His father, thirty year old social officer Adan Kay Senior, took him to a clinic in Chetumal, Quintana Roo where he received treatment at about eleven a.m. The boy was released that same day but his symptoms persisted. An hour later, Kay senior took the child to the Northern Medical Plaza clinic where he slipped into a coma and died at two-thirty Monday morning. A doctor has certified food poisoning as the cause of death.
