Well you know having a fair themed around Valentine’s day has become quite popular in Belize and this year I have one up north, down south, out west and here in the City to tell you about. I’ll start up north.
On Saturday, those of you in Orange Walk can head over to Muffles Fair beginning at 4pm on the school campus. They are planning a fair that will have a little bit of everything for people of all ages. They will be having lots of games and stalls with a variety of traditional and not so traditional food on sale and drinks, like fruity drink specials. And as the night goes on the will be having a disco open.
Out west the St Ignatius High School will be having their Valentines Fair at the Macal River Park beginning at 10am on Saturday morning. This fair will include games like tambola and raffles. They will also be having mechanical rides as well as a performance by the San José Succotz Festival Drum Corp. and of course there will be lots of food and drinks on sale. A dance will also follow the fair.
