One charged in Barney Cunningham murder
He has been in custody since Saturday and today Marlon Forman appeared in Court, charged with the murder of Barney Cunningham Jr. The incident occurred on January second at Curl Thompson Street. Cunningham was one of eight persons who were helping forty-two year old Edmund Castillo move his family from Barracat Street when police say a lone gunman fired about fifteen rounds into the group. Cunningham was fatally shot in the left side of the head. Three others were injured: Edmund Castillo was grazed under his chin, left cheek and arm; Enrique Alvarez was shot in the right foot; and Glenford Myers was wounded to the leg. As a result, Forman was also charged with three counts of Attempted Murder. He will remain in custody until January sixteenth.
