Pellet gun injury leaves Ahmad Nah brain dead

A nineteen year old resident of Camalote Village is tonight clinging to life after being shot in the head by a minor. The family of Ahmad Nah has reported that he was shot in the head from close proximity with a pellet gun while at a friend’s house over the weekend. He was rushed to the Western Regional Hospital and later transferred to the K.H.M.H. where he remains on life support in the Intensive Care Unit. Doctors have declared Ahmad brain dead but Theodoro Nah still believes his son will recover fully.

“This occurred on the twenty-first of February about two-thirty and at this present moment like I said we are at K.H.M.H. and I see a little improvement in him and I hope the best for him. And I would appeal to the entire nation of Belize to keep him in prayers. His name is Ahmad Nah.”

“Was he at a friend’s house socializing? Where was he at the time when he got shot?”

“Well he frequently hangs out at this area with this friend, at this friend’s house in Camalote Village.”

“At this moment everybody is keeping a tight lip so we’ll let the police do their investigation and then we proceed from there.”

“To me he looks the same as of yesterday, still stable and critical.”

“Are doctors saying his chances of recovery are good or is his condition deteriorating?”

“He has a five percent chance of living but we, as I said I hope to God a miracle can happen. Miracles do happen then.”

“As a parent, how is the family coping with this particular incident?”
Theodoro Nah
“Well we are hanging in there as a family. We come together as one because unity is strength so we are hanging in there.”
Nah was shot in the forehead by a twelve year old girl also from the village of Camalote. The family of Ahmad Nah will consider taking him abroad for further treatment tomorrow depending on further diagnosis at K.H.M.H.
it is obviouse that a minor cannot crank a pellet gun. every cranking gets a pressure and it would be done by an adult. every one knows that if you crank it three times the bullet will not go through his skin.
careless people, this guns or any weapon is nothing to play with, how come they have this pellet gun like if its an ornament in the house, come on guys owners of the pellet gun,it is you duty to help ahmad family financialy, you are resposible for what happen, wether it was an accident or intentional.

not only can a little crank a gun but maybe the gun was already crank……sh*** happen in this world noone can explain….we just have to hope n pray that Mr. Nah will get better soon. I hope and pray that he recove sometime soon!
