Stabbing incident leaves one hospitalized
Another fight had more serious repercussions for the victim. On Monday morning police visited the K.H.M.H. and saw twenty-eight year old Michael Caine with four stab wounds to the back. Caine told police that he was in the Port area when he became embroiled in an argument with Alvin Conorquie, a resident of Second Street in Corozal Town. During the altercation Conorquie is alleged to have produced a small knife and inflicted the injuries to Caine. Police have detained Conorquie pending charges.
