Garoy brothers and friend charged for robbery of Holiday Grocery

Four masked men stormed Holiday Grocery Store just after midday on March third. There were armed with point thirty-eight revolvers, which they used to rob storeowner Chun Mei Liu of cash, phone cards, alcoholic beverages and an assortment of DVDs. But as the men headed toward Belize City, police caught up with them in front of Duke Marine Company. Today three of the four were charged with Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery when they appeared in Magistrates’ Court. The brazen thieves that committed the broad daylight robbery are believed to be Channing Garoy, his brother Reginald Garoy, Kareem Williams and Ronald Cox. But Channing was not arraigned for the robbery today because he is currently facing charges for unlicensed ammunition. Meanwhile, the remaining three were denied bail and have been remanded to Hattieville prison until their case comes back to court.

The punishments don’t match the crimes…until severe consewuences are implemented, crimes will not stopped!!

For a system that doesn’t provide any resources for these brothers to learn a new trade and later find a job what else do you expect? There are no excuses for what they did but the system leave little choice for these and other people in similar situations.
look at this adults health men!! Why in the world they go around robbing like this, these men what good beating, wish I could hold to them, you know something, I am will never get tired of my nursery ryhme until somebody learn it, HANG DEM M R!!!!!!!!!!

I AGREE WITH YOU NERRIE, IT’S JUST SAD HOW THE CRIME RATE KEEPS INCREASING. BUT THE PARENTS TOO, NEED TO BUILD A STRONGER FOUNDATION IN THEIR HOMES, AND TEACH THEIR CHILDREN TO BE RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE & AMBITIOUS YOUNG PPL.
IF THE SYSTEM INVESTED MORE IN THE CHILDREN & YOUTHS, FOR EXAMPLE PROVIDING FREE EDUCATION THROUGHTOUT HIGH SCHOOL AND EVEN COLLEGE, & BUILDING MORE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES & PARKS, FOR THEM TO SOCIALIZE.THEN MAYBE, WE WOULDN’T LOOSE THEM AS FAST TO THE STREETS & CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES, EVENTUALLY BECOMMING “CAREER CRIMINALS” .
AS IT IS, I DON’T SEE MUCH PLACES LIKE THE ABOVE MENTIONED IN BELIZE….THERE ARE REALLY VERY LIMITED PLACES FOR THEM TO GO….
Again, men out of poor communities, no father figure involved, a home, and a dysfunctional society made for a very disturbed outcome.

There was a documentry by CNN, two brothers from the project, same mom and dad, one is a professor at a University, he other brother chose a life of crime, he is now serving time in jail, his brother visits him frequently in jail…. From the begining we know Cain killed Abel… The heart of man is wicked and deceitful, who can know it ? only God… The law was made for the lawless….. We need the love of God to fill our hearts to love one another, it is the only remedy for humanity…
