UK tourist died due to C.P.R. procedure
The post-mortem has been conducted on the body of U.K. national Victoria Harner. Today’s police report quotes pathologist Dr. Mario Estradabran as saying that Harner died from head trauma and ruptured heart chest trauma as a result of a C.P.R. procedure. We are not sure whether that means that the C.P.R. she was administered contributed to her death and our efforts to contact Dr. Estradabran to query the findings were unsuccessful. Harner was along with a group of seven other tourists tubing near Clarissa Falls when she flipped out of her tube in the strong current. The members of the group gave her C.P.R. but could not revive the thirty-five year old woman and she was pronounced dead on arrival at the San Ignacio Hospital.
