Inmate gets extra time for robbing cop and resisting arrest

Dillon Diamond
Twenty-one year old Dillon Diamonds, a resident of Taylor’s Alley, who is already serving time at the Hattieville prison for the charge of wounding, returned to court on Thursday for other offences. In mid trial, Diamonds changed his plea to guilty for robbing a cop of two cell phones and resisting arrest. The robbery occurred on June nineteenth of last year on Orange Street. PC Fidelio Ico, told the court that he was approached by two men, one who pointed a double barrel gun in his face, while the other searched his pocket and stole his two cell phones. Magistrate Sharon Frazer ordered Diamonds to pay one thousand five hundred dollars for robbery and a month behind bars for resisting arrest. Diamonds has until May thirty-first to pay the fine which he undertook to do when he leaves jail.
