Being burglarized is an inexcusable offense. I was a victim of burglary in the Cayo District and the feeling of being violated and raped and to even think that a “stranger” would disrupt your place of sanctuary – its a feeling not even words can explain. The thieves had a clean get away with almost $20,000.00 in broad daylight. Police came after many hours to take pictures and up to now there have been no arrests. So much was taken away from my family and I that day – so much of our hard earned sweat that would never be returned to us. I thank God however, that when these items were stolen he spoke to me almost instantly. He said “You WILL get back what the enemy has stolen 3 times folds from you”. He was right! I did and God has been wonderful. Whenever you are burglarized its a personal thing between you and God. Therefore, I do encourage everyone to put your trust in God and NOT man – they will forever fail you. I sympathize with Ms. Garnett for her loss, however, I am looking forward to the three offenders be charged with this crime to the fullest extent!
