Butane goes down $6 per cylinder

The Government Press Office has announced that the price of butane has once again plunged… this time by as much as six dollars. In Belize City and Corozal, the price dropped from ninety-six to ninety dollars, while in Orange Walk the price is ninety-one. Residents in Belmopan and San Ignacio will now pay ninety-two dollars per hundred pound cylinder and in Benque butane now costs ninety-three. Dangriga and Punta Gorda are the highest at ninety-four and ninety-five dollars respectively. This is the second consecutive time that the price of butane has decreased since November. The new prices become effective on Friday.
