Lifeline gives out Christmas hampers to flood victims
Thousands were affected by recent floods in southern, western, central and northern Belize that wreaked havoc in communities, displacing families and causing millions of dollars in damages. Residents are still putting their life back together and today some help came their way. In the spirit of Christmas, the Lifeline Foundation today delivered hampers to fifty families worth in the range of twenty-five thousand dollars during a ceremony at the Princess Hotel. According to Lifeline, the contribution was made from the proceeds of last October’s programme “Evening of Asia” hosted by the organization.
