Bangladeshi salesman charged for ephedrine pills

Amin Fokrul
Three men have been accused of importing pills that contain ephedrine into country. Twenty-nine year old Amin Fokrul, a salesman from Bangladesh appeared in court today to face charges of importing restricted goods when he along with two other men identified as Fakhrul Alam Salim and Afsar Miah were found in possession of fifteen thousand Aslam and Avita pills. Both men are proprietors of Belize General Pharmacy Supplies. The capsules are believed to contain ephedrine, a chemical used in the manufacture of crystal meth. Before Magistrate Edd Usher, Fokrul, who was represented by Senior Counsel BQ Pitts, was initially denied bail on the grounds that he is considered a flight risk because his nationality and status remain unknown. Fokrul was able to provide documents proving that he is a resident of Belize and bail was subsequently offered to him in the sum of twelve thousand dollars. The conditions of his release are that the persons signing his bail must be Belizeans and that he is to surrender his traveling documents to the clerk of court and report to court twice a week. The charges were levied against him last Tuesday when the pills, valued at eleven thousand seven hundred dollars were discovered. Fokrul is scheduled to reappear in court on May seventh h.

He surrendered his Belizean passport to the authorities and he will flee your country with his Bangladesh passport, smart eh.
Do not be surprised when crystal meth hit the streets of Belize, it will be people like Amin Fokrul/ salesman or well know drug dealers operating in Mexico that will bring the drug to your country.
yes maddy that’s true what you say people like these influence the crime rate higher now and in the future with these things ( pills ). he should be watch on all his move cause he can fly away unlessthey make a report at the airport that no Amin Fokrul is eligible of flying oout of the country. airport should be alerted as soon as possible.
bangladeshi are know terrorist espeically he is a muslim how are these guys getting into belize and getting our residency , if continued belize will start to harbour terriorism so the immigration authorities must be more vigilant while issuing residency to muslims most of whom are terriorists
This guy Fokrul is not a manager of that company, Fokrul is the younger brother of Afsar Miah who sending those pills from Bangladesh and this guy Fokrul suposed to receive & sell to those drug dealer but unfortunately got caught. This guy Fokrul does not deserve the bail from court but everything possible in Belize.
THEY ALLOWED HIM BAIL???? Seriously, what is the Belize court system coming to. Ephedrine and pseudophedrine are easily converted to methamphetamine (Speed, Ecstasy) which would more than triple the street value. 12K bail because he has Belizean documents?? Seriously? Sorry but its not that hard to get one of our nice Belizean passports these days – its practically a souvenir for some foreigners. I’m pretty sure this guy will never again see the inside of our Belizean court.
I was just waiting to hear a story regarding the popular American ‘club drugs’ making their way to Belize and into the hands of our younger generation. If the Belizean government doesn’t get smarter about some of these ‘non-violent’ crimes, then its heading for some real problems. Start regulating your prescription drugs!! Please!!
