Woman who jumped from bus during robbery critically injured

One person was critically injured in the botched robbery of a D and E bus last Saturday night on the Western Highway that was held up by two men, one carrying a grenade. Luisa Carillo was hospitalized for fractures to her skull but tonight we can positively report that there has been some improvement in her condition. Her brother, Esvin Carillo, told News Five this evening that it is not certain what really happened inside the bus when nineteen year old Luisa Carillo landed on the paved highway from the speeding bus. She suffered two fractures on her skull, and is under observation at the intensive care unit at the Belize Health Care Partners Hospital. The family decided to transfer Luisa from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital to that private institution today. According to Esvin Carillo, while there has been some progress, she is not out of the woods as yet.

“Monday she opened her eyes, she woke up and she recognized me and the doctors they were asking her some questions and she knows what they were asking for; she answered them correct, her name and other things. Right now she is doing well, stable her but condition is very critical, so is like fifty, fifty and anything can happen. But Doctor Cervantes from Health Care Partners told us that she will be in the ICU room under observation. Medications will be applied to her so that if necessary they want to—because she has two fractures in her skull and the brain is swollen and doctors want to see if they can take out some blood that she has in her brain.”
may the lord heal you completely belizean sister. i can understand the fear you felt and the urge to save your life but failed to you. God willing you’ll get back to normall and that some counseling be given to you to gain back that confidence and that fear being taken away. a trauma like this is almost for life but it can be forgotten with proper treament counseling. Belize is in a collusion wave of crime and violence. The police are twisted and bend at the will of organized crime where its own elements are fingered by the Chief of Police and by even the Prime Minister on national television broadcast. They are fingered that they collude in a ring, organize as a gang of police with civilians. At the moment this situation is being live nationally by all of us, we can clearly say that we are at the brinks or deep into social mistrust. Belizeans see and perceive within this national insecurity, a power vacuum within the realms of Home affairs Ministry specifically at the Police. The Commissioner of Police claims that organized crime has filtered into the Police ranks way up to at least one inspector where as all constables would be seen now by the public as an organize crime gang member force and not as part of the a police force.
Organized Crime attempts against our well establish institutions to the extent that with its buy and sell modus operandi way of life it has twist and bend the Police Force. Organized crime also attempts against the Belizean family when in a cross fire gang related activity any innocent of a family can perish and propel family anguish. It also violates the Belizean family mental and physical integrity. It violates our fundamental freedom to mobilize ourselves at ease around the streets of our town or city. It violates children outdoor playing grounds or neighborhood socialization and gathering.
It is time that the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition stop talk about our economy which has been peg to globalization and will only unhook till 2029 with the super bond maturity. We can’t change that. Its time that this two leaders sit down in the name of the Belizean family integrity and get a crime bill, with its appropriate referendum They should not sit down to collude how to govern the people but how to protect them as a family and as any individual living in Belize. They should cherish our Belize at all times. Together they should also promote and maintain the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the public. An Academy for the Police force is now inevitable; it should be form due to its technical and scientific pursuits which now don’t exist in Belize with its appropriate high tech.

I can only imagine how you felt, and I would have done the same to save my life, those aliens need to be found and brought to justice, I wish I can find them and hang them by the neck until dead, dead.
I expect PRENSA LIBRE and other GUAT newspapers to print the total opposite side to this story keep an eye out for this, total mass killing of one of their compatriots and they will say let us do it to Belizeans coming in to their country, just be on the lookout for this. I travel extensively and sometimes these things happen, always when u travel have alternative plans. I am absolutely glad my fellow Belizeans aced this one, I will pray for the young lady to recover I have faith in the Lord she will, she panicked, this is the result of the flight or fight syndrome, my recommendation if you have to only if you have to fight them with all your soul, might, strenght and mind.
