“Acting upon information received, Benque Viejo police visited a feeder road at about a quarter mile south of Benque Viejo Town from George Price Boulevard where the lifeless body of a male person was seen lying on the side in a pool of blood with what appeared to be a single gun shot wound to the left side of his face. The body was transported to the San Ignacio Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. A post mortem examination is scheduled for tomorrow.”

“Miss Phillips, who found the body?”

Supt. Dezerie Phillips
“The body was discovered by a person who was passing the area to go and do his routine chores on his farm. The feeder road is considered also as a farm road. People traffic that area to go to their respective farms.”

Duane Moody
“Has there been anyone suspected for this murder?”

Supt. Dezerie Phillips
“Well, we are interviewing a number of persons. We have recorded several statements and the investigation is pretty young.”
