A week later, body still in the deep Blue Hole

In an update of a story we aired last Thursday of a body found in the Blue Hole, News Five has confirmed that the body has still not been retrieved from the deep waters because police say the process is technical and financing to put off this operation has come up short. Police also say that efforts from local authorities and the U.S. Embassy to contact the Delgado family have been futile. It is believed that the remains are that of Dr. Ruben Delgado who disappeared in the waters of the Blue Hole on August fifth, 2001. Polish divers, Artur Dabrowski and Emil Lisowski, who found the body last week three hundred and fifty-three feet within the Blue Hole, say they are willing and ready to recover the body if the police or the Delgado family requests them to do so. The divers found a camera which was attached to the body and the serial number matched the camera used by Delgado some seven years ago.
